SEAS Outreach Opportunities
Inspire and Challenge BE Students
Learning Beyond the Classroom, Near and Far
When it comes to outreach, Bioengineering students are among the most active in the school. Our students take advantage of the school's many programs to serve, from providing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) outreach activities at the University and in Philadelphia area schools, to serving the needs of communities in Honduras, Cameroon and China using their technological and engineering knowledge.
This hands-on learning and discovery changes, informs, and stretches students in unexpected ways. They return inspired to pursue careers in international public health, research, medical devices and entrepreneurship. To find out more, please email Megan Doherty, in the Office of Academic Programs.
